It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Jean Simonson of Cambridge, Ohio, born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Cherok and Esther Cherok (Huffman); her husband Donald Robert Simonson; her brother Paul Cherok; her stepdaughter Ruth Hannum; and her granddaughter Billie Jo.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Simonson (Michelle) of Dover, Brian Simonson (Laurie) of Manchester and Joe Simonson (Laura) of Salesville; her stepdaughters, Marie Yoder (Warren) of Canton and Donna Simonson of Grove City; her siblings, John Cherok (Mari) of Barberton, Jim Cherok (Michelle) of Akron, Larry Cherok of Wadsworth and Judy Jacobs (Larry) of Barberton; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Autumn, Scott Jr., Parker, Joanna, Timothy, Brian Jr., Christopher, Stephen, Ian, Michael, Tyler and Annie. She is also survived by many great- grandchildren.
