She was predeceased by: her parents, Adaraundas Judson and Elizabeth McElwee (Hunnell); and her husband Raymond Lester. She is survived by: her sons, Marvin Holmes (Leanne) and David Ray Holmes; her grandsons, Ross Judson Holmes (Camille Tinnin) and Zachary Richard Holmes (Kaylen); her sister Helen McElwee Gregg; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth McElwee, Betty Finlaw Smith and John Holmes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
