He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson James and Bertha M. James (Smith); and his siblings, Corbett James, Buddy James, Hazel Anderson and June Harper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Kovach of Michigan, Kimberly James of Michigan, Myers of Michigan and Robin Clark of Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
