He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Combs and Dorothy Combs (Beal); his sons, Steven K. Combs and Robert D. Combs; his daughter-in-law Janet K. Combs; and his brothers, Dean, Veryl and Dick Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca A. Combs (Klein); his daughters, Mary Mizek (Chris) of Columbus and Ann Garrison of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Molly Garrison, Steven Garrison and Jaelyn Combs; and his stepgrandsons, Jeff Miller (Jacki) and Ryan Miller (Kirsten). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
