He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Whaley and Ruby Whaley (Stoneking); and his siblings, Joan Lamp, Donald Whaley and Robert Whaley.
He is survived by: his grandson Joey; his wife Sandra Whaley (Millward); his sons, Kevin Whaley (Jennifer) and Roger Whaley (Lisa) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Austin Whaley (Somer Yoho) of San Antonio, Allison Masinelli (Adam) of West Lafayette, Jake Whaley (Megan) of Greensboro, Steven Whaley (Jenna) of London, England, Jessica Hagar (Mark) of Sarasota, Madison Whaley of Cambridge and Kaden Whaley of Cambridge; his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Wyatt and Ella of Cambridge; his great grandchildren, Carsyn, Cori Masinelli of West Lafayette, Emma, Ellie Hagar of Sarasota, Jaxon, Stella Whaley of London, England and Rylin Whaley of Cambridge; and his sisters, Cheryl Lynn Barrick (Dave) and Jannette Nelson of Tyler.
