He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Burroughs and Edna Burroughs (Ernest); his daughter Ashley McCort; and his siblings, Freda, Gene, Doris, Ronnie, Larry and Janet.
He is survived by: his daughter Chandra Caugh of Florida; his girlfriend Donna Kimble of Cambridge; his siblings, Gary Burroughs (Lucy) of Lore City, Margaret Henry (Charles) of Freeport and Juanita Dodd (Hercshel) of Quaker City; and his nephew Jay Burroughs. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, along with several nieces.
