It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Gaddis of Cambridge, Ohio, born in Shawnee, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gaddis and Nancy "Elanore" Gaddis (Thacker); his daughter Janet Gore; his son-in-law Jeff Gore; and his grandson Daniel Hockenberry.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gaddis (Nicholas); his children, Bert Gaddis (Mary) of Columbus and Joyce McDonald (David) of Garland, TX; his brothers, J. D. Gaddis (Shirley) of New Lexington and Gary Gaddis (Ilene) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Christina Harris (Nathan) of Columbus and Nichelle Howell (Tyler) of Aurora, CO; and his great grandchildren, Nickolas and Charles.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (September 15, 2020) from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p. m. with Pastor Doug Wells officiating. [Per our Governor's current COVID-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend the visitation and/or services.
