He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward E. Duffey and L. Pauline Duffey (Mehaffey); his grandparents, Howard Duffey (Florence), Clara P. Duffey and Walter Mehaffey (Mary B. Oliver); his uncle Earl Duffey; and his nephew Jon David Gibson.
He is survived by: his stepmother Thelma Bucey Duffey; his children, Kristi Duffey Stillion, Sandy Chalfant (Walter) and Kerri Duffey; his grandchildren, Kayla Stillion, Mackenzie Jerles (Marissa), Jake Neff (Megan), Katelyn Neff (Cole) and Madison Neff (Levi); his great grandchildren, Mia Neff and Maelynn Neff; his sister Jane Gibson (Jim); his stepsisters, Karen Enos (John) and Jeanine Thompson; and his nephews, Jim Gibson and Ben Gibson (Audra). He is also survived by numerous cousins and close friends.
