He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Love Eckelberry; and his sister Mary Ruth Duff. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane "MJ" Couto of Cambridge; his children, Robin Morris (Curtis) of St. Clairsville, Anthony "Tony" Couto of Melissa, John Boggess of Sandusky, Tabitha Boggess of Canal Winchester and Darin Rotruck of Newcomerstown; his siblings, David Couto (Lanny) of Valley Grove, WV., Larry Couto (Cathy) of Cambridge and Doris Kleman of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Brittney Rotruck, Tylor, Nash Boggess, Shaine Slevin, Luke Wright and Le Mani Carroll; and his friend John Rush. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
