He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hiram Brown and Rosalie Violet Brown (Jarrett); his son Richard E. Brown II; his siblings, Christy Cummings (Brown) and Ted Brown; and his brother-in-law George Thomas.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, David Beverlin (Whitney), Melanie Nolan (Ryan), Steven Adams, Jerry Brown (Jenny), Brianna Sanger (Nick), Joshua Brown (Courtney), Amber Brown Durant, Laura Durant Mick, Jessica Durant, Morgan Durant and William Morris III (Paul); and his siblings, Randy Brown and Connie Harris (Beau). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
