Norma Jean Hughes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2021, at the age of 88, Norma Jean Hughes of Cambridge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blancett and Margaret "Maggie" Blancett; and her husband John Hughes. She is survived by: her siblings, Fred, Albert, Robert, Ernest, Edith, Bessie and Florence; her children, Linda McWhorter (Bud), Rev. Nancy Parsons (Junior), Dyanne Hudson (John) and Stephen Blancett (James); and her friend Herma Schilling. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
In the early 1970s, she served as the Executive Director of the American Cancer Society in Cambridge and was the owner of the Antique Village in Buffalo, Ohio.
