He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Catherine "Kattie" Belaj, Velvie Radcliff Williams and James "Pop" Williams; his parents, Lawrence Belaj and Lorraine Belaj (Wine); his father-in-law Gerald Ables; his stepdaughter Faith Ann; his grandson Thomas Laughman; and his close friend Bearcat "Buddy".
He is survived by: his grandson Donavan; his wife Jeri Ann Belaj (Ables); his children, Michele Herman of Zanesville, Sarah Belaj of Belpre and Tim Belaj (Tiffany) of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Breeanna, Kane (Abby), Curail, Khloe, Olivia, Lucas, Mica, Mary, Chase and Brantlee; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Waylon, Wyatt and Brody; his siblings, Joseph L. Belaj (Bonnie) and Veronica Mourer (Steve) of Cambridge; his mother-in-law Janice Ables; and his brother-in-law Russ Ables (Sheila). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
