She was predeceased by: her parents, J. O. Carpenter and Civilla Carpenter; her husband Charles F. Tilton; and her siblings, Virginia Toohey, Fern Carpenter, Ruth Spence, Morrie, Carson "Jack", Manoah "Noah", David, Whitey and Jimmy Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Ford Tilton (Lori) of Caldwell, Kevin Charles Tilton of Lancaster, OH, Lisa Sue Palmer (Don) of Cambridge and Lynn Elizabeth Hess (Keith) of Cambridge; and her grandchildren, Bryan Tilton, Carrie Hupp (Jared), Kelle Shook (Jeff), Carly Palmer and Cameron Palmer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
