She was predeceased by: her parents, Norris Downar and Mary Downar (Gibson); and her husband Charles F. Downerd. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Downerd of Cambridge and Gary Downerd (Janie) of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Aaron Downerd (Cindy) of Cambridge, Derek Downerd of Columbus, Brandon Downerd of Cambridge, Cyle Downerd (Erin) of Lore City and Devin Downerd (Katie) of Cambridge; her great grandchildren, Blake, Dalton, Kilee, Jenna and Morgan Downerd; and her great great grandchildren, Kale Clark and Riley Downerd.
She was a member of the Guernsey County Historical Society, a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, SEORMC, and was an active member at the Guernsey County Senior Center.
