He was predeceased by: his father Herman Mellott. He is survived by: his mother Betty Jo Mellott (Couture); his wife Amy Mellott; his children, Ethan Mellott, Caleb Mellott, Erin Mellott and Ashley Mellott; his stepchildren, Nathan, Alice, Asher, Reuben and Janet Brown; his brother Mikel Mellott; and his close friend Norman Pennekamp. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
