He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stutz and Pearl Stutz (Chenevey); and his siblings, Marcella Draculich (Peter) of Alliance, Walter Stutz (Eva) of Wooster and Joseph Stutz (Martha) of Danville.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Stutz (Cox); his children, Dr. Rick Cox, Lora Meredith (Doug) of Winterset, Jeff Cox (Jane) and Doug Stutz (Kelly) of Newark, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Nolan Cox (Emily), Rory Stelzer (Jacob), Amy Damele (Chris), Kevin Cox (Nicole), Mitchell Cox (Kate Siefert), Noah Stutz, Avery Stutz, Wyatt Meredith, Warren Meredith, Josie Meredith and Weldon Meredith.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Guernsey County Veterans Council, P.O. Box 572, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.

“Most of the family don't have any idea who I am. My name is Frank Francis and I was the one who sold Loran the Corvette. Years back we shared breakfast after the Sunday mass quite often. We shared a lot of common interests and growing up problems. I truly enjoyed our times we shared and want the family to know my wife and I send our condolences to his entire family. May he rest in peace. He deserves it.”
