He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Stavely and Nellie Irene Stavely (Smith); his siblings, Eddie Lee Stavely (Doris) and Marjorie Kendall (Glenn); his brother-in-law Willmus "Will" Kackley; his mother-in-law Marie Kackley; and his nieces, Sandy Withers and Sue Voorhies.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Stavely (Kackley); his daughters, Debbie Realme (Juan) of Blacklick, Sherry Smith of Cambridge and Shelly Cale (Troy) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Eric Neuhart (Vanessa) of Blacklick, Craig Neuhart of Texas, Michael Smith (Mindy) of New Concord, Angela Varwig (Johnny) of Kentucky and Dr. Natalee Noche (Justin) of Ashley; his sister-in-law Esther Kackley of Florida; and also Eric Neuhart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many near and dear close friends.
