He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Stout and Nancy Fugitt Stout; and his aunts and uncles, Linda Montey, Ruth Prouty, Joe and Glenn Stout (Edward).

He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Seth and Sarah; his granddaughter Ava; his brothers, Roger (Mary) and Jim Stout (Denise); his siblings-in-law, Virl Andrick (Joe Arbo), Ted Andrick (Kathi) and Winnie Andrick Sorensen; his aunt Nancy Jewett; his uncle Don Stout (Donna); his cousins, Patricia, Ruth Anne and Steve; and his nieces and nephews, Charlotte, Andrea, Amy, Laura, Jason and Scott. He is also survived by his two brothers, he had several cousins who came to feel like siblings.
