She was predeceased by: her parents, Ledlie Knight and Alva Knight (Kesselring); her husband Earl Moorehead; her son Earl Moorehead; and her brothers, Richard and George Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Taylor of Cambridge, Theresa Jackson (James) of Cambridge and Alva Johnson (Bill) of Horn Lake, MS. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
