It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Linn Bates of Cambridge, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance M. Bates and Patricia Ellen Bates (McDiffitt); and his brother Jeff Bates. He is survived by: his wife Lori Bates (Hair); his daughter Melissa Beaver (Matthew) of Kimbolton; his siblings, Jan Bates (Tara) of Cambridge and Judie Wendorf (Jeff) of Hartville; and his grandchildren, Kamden Oldson, Karsyn Oldson, Dylan Beaver, Isaac Beaver and Kohl Beaver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and good friends.
Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be sent to the Guernsey County Cancer Society, 139 N 7th Street Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
