“Mrs. Henderson was my teacher for both first and second grade at Beech Grove Elementary School. She was a great teacher and reinforced in me the importance of eating healthy and staying active. Two of my fondest memories of her are that she shared a banana milkshake recipe with my mom to make for our class to celebrate my birthday and a couple of times she brought newborn lambs to school and kept them in a basket behind her desk to bottle feed them and take care of them during the day!”
