She was predeceased by: her husband Butch; her parents, Lonnie "Hop" Remley Sr. and Naomi Remley (Kranz); her siblings, Bernard Remley, Clinton Reed, Lonnie Remley Jr., Robert A. Remley, Alma Hosler, Carol Kelly and Sylvia Remley; her children, Richard Bates and Melissa Bates; and her granddaughter Ashley Bates.
She is survived by: her son Paul Bates Jr.; her daughter-in-law Beverly; her daughters, Christina Ledet and Paula Johnson; and her sister Ruth Walls of Cambridge. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen loveliest great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
