He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn M. Gibson and Margaret Gibson (Basalla). He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah (Joe Gognat), Beth Trussa (late Larry), Lora Kenworthy (late Herb), Mark and Brad Gibson; his nephews, Joe, Jason, Tim, Brian and Steve; his niece Karlee; and his pets, Pebbles and Kenzie. He is also survived by one great-niece and four great-nephews.
