She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Elrick Schaaf and Grace Marie Culpepper; her daughter Katherine Danita Smith; her grandson Brandon Pieper; and her siblings, Bud Shepard, Nancy Hanvey and Jane Caler.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Milburn (Jody), Chuck Milburn of Cambridge, Marlene Winland (David) and Grace Pieper (Joe) of Cambridge; her siblings, Tommy Shepard (Teresa) of Portsmouth, VA, Denise Weast of Christianburg, VA, Eva Treece of Christianburg, VA, Sherry Cox (John) of London, KY, Ginny Fulcher (Marvin) of Coinjock, NC, Rose Marie Davis of London, KY and Michael Hogan of Sherwood, AR; and her son-in-law Keith Smith. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and good friends.
