He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benson and Florence Benson (Brooks); his brother Kenneth Benson; and his pets, Rocky and Daisy.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Benson (Lackney); his sons, Matthew Benson (Whitney) of Hingham, MA and Mark Benson (Sidney); his grandsons, Jacob Benson of Hingham, MA, Luke, Liam and Oliver Benson; his brother Brian Benson (Shirley) of Blackpool England; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
