He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Smith McElroy (Bea); his children, Kim Lynch (Mike) and Gary McElroy Jr. (Leanna Kackley); his grandchildren, Alyssa Ingram (Nathan), Micah Kennedy (Cory) and Allie Faye; his great grandchild Myler Jo Dean; and his siblings, Wilma Gress, Eugene and Ernie McElroy. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
