He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Bennett, and Betty E. Smith Bennett, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie L. Bennett of Columbus and Samantha N. Purdy (Brooks) of Amesville; his grandchildren, Chase Purdy and Layla Purdy; and his siblings, Joe Bennett of Cambridge and Terri Capps (Paul) of Garner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
