It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn J. Prouty of Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil D. Thatcher and Lona Thatcher (Adkins); her husband Walter J. Prouty; her daughter Denise Prouty Hinkley; her granddaughter Jamie Valentine; and her sister Mary Ellen McWilliams.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Valentine (Jay) of Byesville, Rich Prouty (Lisa) of Austinburg and Rex Prouty (Tammy) of Cambridge; her son-in-law Dave Hinkley; and her grandchildren, Zachary McHenry, Ian, Caleb, Jared Prouty, Nicole Seeley (Parker Conner), Kelly Barnes (Terry) and Christopher Hinkley (Chalanda). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and two nieces.
