He was predeceased by: his parents, Harper Ross and Irene Ross (Huff); his brothers-in-law, John Mathers, George Balogh and Robert Shirer; and his parents-in-law, Alpha and John W. Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Ross (Oliver); his children, Julie Blackstone (Mark), John Ross (Sherry Cross) and Joy Lucas (Steve); his grandchildren, Laura Kreitler (Daniel), Jared Ross, Cory Largent (Amy) and Amelia Lucas; and his sisters, Nancy Pattison (Roger), Janice Mathers and Linda Shirer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
