In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dorcas leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Dorcas may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Rossiter and Mavis Rossiter (Lucas); her husband George Jones; her son Ronald L. Smith; her half-brother Blaine Rossiter; and her grandson Randy Smith Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Paula) of Cambridge, Randall Smith (Debbie) of Cambridge, Debbie Charleston (Dale) of Kimbolton and Kim Larrick of Cambridge; and her sister Carol Mash (Lenville) of Akron. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (139 S 9th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
