He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C Thatcher and Velma M. Thatcher; his sister Betty; his former wife Frances F. (Murphy); his son Chuck Thatcher; and his half-brother Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra J. Thatcher (Knox); his daughter Sandy Pyles (John) of St. Clairsville; his siblings, Delbert Thatcher (Sally) of Cambridge and Rosezelma Williams of Pleasant City; his stepdaughters, Sheri, Vicki, Pam, Cindy and Karen; and his granddaughters, Amber and Lisa. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Covid precautions will be observed with distancing and masks.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Faith United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Guernsey.
