He was predeceased by: his father Earl Hefner; and his brother Denny Kukich. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Erb of St. Mary's, WV.; his siblings, Dewayne "Joe" Hefner (Samantha), Earl Hefner (Tammy), Sharon Childers (Terry) and Teresa Williamson; and his stepsiblings, Anthony Erb, Timothy Erb and Vicky Binegar (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
