It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cody Carpenter of Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Lori Felton (Blattner); his stepfather Tom Felton of Cambridge; his father Brad Carpenter of Zanesville; his great-grandparents, Uriel and Vivian Corwin; his grandfathers, Jerry Blattner and William T. Carpenter; his daughter Lylah Nicole of Fairview; his siblings, Michael Casey of Cambridge, Chase Carpenter of Byesville, Danielle Blattner of Toledo, Katelyn Casey of Cambridge, Jacie Omen of Zanesville and Kenzie Trott of Cambridge; and his grandmothers, Linda Blattner of Zanesville and Carol Doan (Charles) of Zanesville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and special friends.

Friends and family who want to come are welcome to attend, but due to Covid-19, we are asking that people be careful to maintain social distancing, wear masks. For anyone who would like to attend, but has underlying conditions that could make them particularly susceptible to Covid-19, the family understands if you choose not to attend for that reason.
