He is survived by: his children, Shawn Lanning (Crystal) of Dexter City, Jason Lanning of Cambridge and Leslie Stover of Cambridge; his siblings, Bob Lanning of South Dakota, Bill Lanning (Betty) of Cambridge and Teresa Lanning (Steve) of Galveston, Texas.; his grandchildren, Quenton Stover (Maggie) and Madison Stover; and his stepgrandchildren, Novia and Lucius Clark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
