She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl F. Mills and Margaret E. Mills (Wheatley); her husband Kenneth W. Matthews; her son Robbie Matthews; her grandson Jared Matthews; and her brothers, Richard "Dick" Mills and Jerry Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda McCoy (Tom), Kenny Matthews (Sharon) of Cambridge, Marty Matthews (Cheryl) of Cambridge, Doug Matthews (Sandy) of Cambridge and Regan Matthews of Cambridge; her sister Theresa Flesher of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Chad McCoy, Sabrina Long (John), Taylor Matthews, Derek, Brittany, Lori Matthews, Craig Matthews and Brooke Matthews. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
