She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford McKelvey and Beulah McKelvey (Martin); and her husband Clyde Page Hammel. She is survived by: her children, Page Hammel (Mary Beth) of Senecaville, Tracy Hammel of Cambridge and Deborah Upton (James) of Eaton; and her grandchildren, Michael Upton (Emily) of Casstown, Cody Upton of Lewisburg, Emily Sowell (Richard) of Morgantown, WV and Ashley Hammel of New Martinsville, WV. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
