He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Roby and Viola May Thompson (Archer); his former wife Donna Lou Roby (Dutton); his wife Freda Wickline Roby (Seymour); his son Kevin Roby; his siblings, Carolyn Thompson and Mark Roby; his grandson Jason Gervais; and his daughters-in-law, Barbara Roby and Connie Roby.
He is survived by: his children, David Roby (LaDonna Haley), Richard Roby (Cindy), Cynthia Gervais (Dale) and Phillip Roby (Stacy); and his siblings, Lloyd Thompson, Michael Roby (Chris), John Roby (Susan) and Joann Robinson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
