He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Monroe and Virginia Iona Epperly Phalin; and his sister Soni Phalin. He is survived by: his daughters, Lena Richards (Terry) of Rockport, WV, Amy Leister (Darich) of Caldwell and Tera Parks (Jimi) of Marietta, OH; his granddaughters, Cassandra Giffin (Jason), Cyrena Mace (Justin), Cayla Bowen (Zach Welch), Samantha Shriver (Derek), Kelsie Leister (Ryan Brown) and Karissa Leister; his siblings, Ronnie Phalin of Gallipolis, OH, Gordon Phalin of Piqua, OH, Keith Phalin of Pomeroy, OH, Robin Phalin (Kathy) of Pomeroy, OH and Doug Phalin (Karen) of Pomeroy, OH; and the mother of his child Sandra Smith of Marietta. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
