He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Ford and Joan Dettra Gant; his brothers, Ronald Gant and Darrel Gant; his brother-in-law Paul Gill; his niece Ramona Parrish; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Gill and Mildred Cottrill.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Gill Gant; his sisters-in-law, Judy Gant of Cumberland and Jessie Gill of Caldwell; his nieces, LaShona DeVolld (Donnie), Rowena Garvin (Alan), Debbie Johnson (Randall) and Diana Cox (Tim); his nephew Paul Gill (Gail); and his caregivers, Krystal Sisk, Austin Barth, Angela Wriston, Cindy Connor, Kathryn Money, Teresa Stafford, Kristi Kirk, Jennifer Dickey and Mocha. He is also survived by several other nieces, great-nieces and nephews, great-nephews.
