He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Mellott, and Delores D. Dunfee Mellott, Jr.; his wife Mitzie L. Ginn Mallett; and his brothers, Randy and Jeffrey Mellott.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Rita Mellott of Quaker City, Doris Stottsberry (Charlie) of Caldwell and Darla Gallagher of Columbus; his granddaughter Savanna Bond of West Virginia; his caregiver Shari Rayner (Jim) of Caldwell; and his pet Queenie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home (416 East St, Caldwell, OH 43724). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Halleys Ridge Cemetery.
