He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth R. "Rabbit" Schott; his daughter Elexis "Lexi" Emily Bender; his brothers, Kenneth R. Schott Jr. and Jamie Schott; his brother-in-law Steven W. Bettinger; and his stepfather Larry Cecil Hammonds.
He is survived by: his mother Theresa Offenberger Hammonds of Caldwell; his sisters, Joan Bettinger of Caldwell and Barb Rayner (Jerry) of Cumberland, OH; his nieces, Kimberly Griffin (Charlie), Jessica Crum (Joel) and Alisa Rayner; his nephew David Bettinger (Kristy); and his close friend Debbie Ginn of Cumberland. He is also survived by 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
