He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Schockling and Jo Hannah Hupp Schockling; his wife Lillian B. Crock Schockling; his son Arthur R. "Art" Schockling; and his siblings, Geraldine Crum, James, Donald and Vernon "Pug" Schockling.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Schockling of Caldwell, Tommy Schockling of Caldwell, Lisa Smith (Ed) of Granville, Kristy Crum (Dale) of Caldwell and Tim Schockling (Susie) of Caldwell; his daughter-in-law Debbie Schockling of Caldwell; and his grandchildren, Kim Rucker (Jason), Molly McVicker (Eric), Jennifer O'Brian (Mike), Greg Smith (Kim), Nathan Smith, Emily O'Brien (Matt), Mary Ann Kinnen (Jonathon), Sarah Seebach (Levi), James Schockling and Sophia Schockling. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
