Wikander; his sibling Sergeant David Joseph Wikander; his in-laws, Ray Bonar, Alice Wikander and Jerry Simpson; his siblings, Ruth Bonar of Spanaway, Washington, Mary Simpson of Sachse, Texas, Sharon McConnell (Terry) of Caldwell, Dan Wikander (Sandy) of Sligo, Pennysylvania, John Wikander (Sandi) of Eatonville, Washington, Anna Hildebrand (Mark) of Timblin, Pennsylvania, Beth Snyder (Barry) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Steve Wikander of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Tom Wikander (Laurie) of Fairmont, Pennsylvania; his siblings-in-law, Sara Bond (Steve) and Jerry Robinson (Ellen) of Sarahsville; and his nephew David Wikander, Jr.. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
