He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Urbane and Sarah S. Rayner Hurst; his daughter Marsha Ann Hurst; his great grandchild Colten James Miley; his brother George W. Hurst (Dorothy); and his brother-in-law Joe Dudley.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Elliott Hurst; his children, Robert Lee Hurst (Lori Danison) of Caldwell and Beth Ann Miley (James) of Caldwell; his grandchildren, Cody J. Miley (Lindsay) of Caldwell, Jena Ann Miley of Orient, William James Miley (Janelle) of Caldwell, Eli Robert Hurst (Marla Border) of Caldwell and Justin Robert Hurst (Jenna) of Caldwell; his sister Norma J. Dudley of Cumberland; and his pet Rylee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
