She is survived by: her son Brian Hammes (Katherine) of Gaithersburg, Maryland; her sister Patricia Cussel of Columbus, Georgia; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Kuhn (Mary Alice), Kris Dodds (Leslie), Karen Kuhn and Kim Dodds Massey.
