He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. "Toppy" and Rea Tarcella Leasure Buckey; his sister Gail Wheeler; his father-in-law Harry Wharton; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Wharton and Bob Wharton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Archer Buckey; his siblings, Vicki J. Somers (Mike) of Zanesville and Mike R. Buckey (Linda) of Caldwell; his mother-in-law Jean Wharton; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Wharton, Mary Wharton and Bill Wharton; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Hendershot (Jamie), Jeremy Wheeler (Amy), Hallie Marshall (J. T.), Jocelyn Paslowski (Donny), Lance Buckey (Kristen), Matt Hannahs (Allison), Kasey Somers, Travis Somers (Lauren), Dan Wharton (Sarah), Nate Wharton (Stephanie) and Natasha Dovenbarger (Paul); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Colton, Olivia Hendershot, Peyton, Riley Wheeler, Axel Buckey, Lane, Garrett, Katie Hannahs, Adeline Somers, Veda, Poppy, Gavin, Heath Paslowski, Scarlett, Grant Marshall, Nakayla Dovenbarger and Kaylee Wharton.
Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing at all gatherings.
