He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William and Anna Latetia "Tish" Archer Stack; his brother Richard Robey; his niece Becky Robey; and his nephew Roger Thompson, Jr..

He is survived by: his sisters, Tamara Guiler (Dwain) of Quaker City and Tyra Thompson (Roger) of Wyndham, Ohio. He is also survived by six nieces; one nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
