He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Runneals and Dorothy Runneals (Jennings); and his brother Terry M. Runneals. He is survived by: his children, Candy Armstrong (Keith), Ryan Runneals (Melissa), Erik Runneals (Emily), Tasha Kell (Ian), Morgan Catlett (Ryan) and Trey Runneals (Amber); his siblings, James Runneals (Cyndi), Linda Runneals and Janice Jesko (Thad); his grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Collin, Megan, Amaya, Aubrey, Bryn, Kiara, Ethan, Kyizer, Arianna, Tristan, Max, Seth, Dyrrick, Dylani, Gwen and Ruby; and his sister-in-law Susan Runneals. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials can be made to the Athletic Department at Bath High School.
