She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ross and Louisa Wyant Slates; her husband John J. Baker; her son David Baker; and her siblings, Sarah, Erma, Oscar, Floyd and George Slates.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack Baker (Loraine Mancine) of Canton and Terry Baker (Lisa) of Portage Lakes; her daughter-in-law Jamie Baker of Cadiz; and her adoptive daughter Nellie Erow. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and special friend.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Virginia's memory to First Church of Christ in Cadiz.
