He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Mizer and Sylvia Mizer (Giffin); his wife Winnie Mizer (Horn); his close friends, Jackie Rocchi (Seleski) and Suzanne Frutchey; and his sisters, Nancy Jonard and Dorothy Willis.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Mizer (Karen) of Cadiz, Deb Knight (Jeff) of Cadiz and Luan Mizer of Cadiz; his siblings, David Mizer (Anna), George Mizer (Kathryn), Lois Henderson (George) and Sara Griffith (Mizer); and his grandchildren, Whitney Wack (Chris), Katie Kimble (Jeff), Morgan Knight (Alison), Allie Knight, Karley Mizer and Brett Mizer (Holland). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
